With consumer budgets tighter than ever, saving on the items we need – and want – has become more important than ever to South African shoppers. In the last 18 months in particular, research has shown that bargain hunting is at the top of all buyers’ lists as they look to become more savvy. The good news is that Game is making savings easy with its Price Beat Promise. The game launched its Price promise in 1970, as part of its commitment to providing customers with unbeatable prices on every item for the past 51 years. Essentially, the Price Beat promise guarantees Game buyers the absolute lowest price on all items Game stocks, both before and for 21 days after purchase. Using This Smart Buyer’s Dream Policy is straightforward, you don’t need to register or be part of a program, and it applies to products stocked at any local retailer, in-store or online.

But don’t take our word for it. Here’s what some of SA’s more savvy shoppers are saying about Game’s Price Beat Promise:

What else can smart buyers do to increase their budgets?

Buy in bulk and stock up! – look for deals where retailers give you more, for less. This is especially useful for long shelf life pantry items and non-perishable items like cleaning supplies, which helps you stretch your budget further at the end of the month.

Buy near you and save on transport – Find retailers near you, to make sure you spend unnecessary funds on transportation to and from stores.

Do it in one stop – Being able to buy multiple items under one roof makes your shopping both convenient and profitable.
